The 🍄Annual African Rising Mushroom Festival 🍄 is a three-day event hosted by Environmental Conservation and Agricultural Enhancement Uganda (Eco-Agric Uganda) at their Mushroom growing center three kilometers from the Hoima central market in rural Eastern Uganda. The event highlights the transformative power of mushrooms in addressing some of Africa’s most pressing challenges, including food security, poverty, and environmental sustainability.

The festival features a range of activities, including exhibitions, industry speakers, mushroom training and mentorship programs, networking opportunities, and innovative mycology solutions and technology showcases.
